The Location / The Mission

For this event, we will meet in downtown Monroe, North Carolina, on
May 1, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The address is 500 W Crowell Street. This will be in the outdoor “mall” area between the flagpole and the government building.

We are ready to pack the area with believers from all backgrounds, cultures, and denominations in a show of unity like never before in our area.

Frequently asked questions

  • We are partnering with churches from around Union County to have pastors, elders, deacons, and leadership guide us in meaningful prayer time.

  • We will be praying in the name of Jesus. We are Christian but welcome all people to attend and hear/pray with believers from all around. We will also sing worship songs together as we petition the Lord.

    This is not a Monroe city-sponsored event.

  • We will be partnering with numerous churches to help lead worship. This will include possible worship leaders, bands, and choirs.

    The range of music will be gospel to modern worship.

  • We will be praying and worshiping on May 1, 2025.

  • We estimate this will start at 6:00pm and last for as long as the Holy Spirit allows.

  • We will meet in the outdoor “mall” area from the flagpoles to the government building with “In God We Trust” on it. Please continue to pray for the whole space. Over the course of the week leading up to the event, we will also hold prayer walks if you or your church are interested in coming.

  • A Bible, A chair or blanket for you and/or your family, and a prayerful spirit to petition the Lord on behalf of our community.

  • We believe in the Triune Godhead, (Trinity). The unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. The doctrine of the Trinity is considered to be one of the central Christian affirmations about God.

    Christians believe that God is a Trinity of Persons, each omnipotent, omniscient and wholly benevolent, co-equal and fully divine. There are not three gods, however, but one God in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    We believe the resurrection is central to our faith. Christians claim that the death and resurrection of Christ is the central plank of our faith.

    Jesus made a startling claim about the resurrection. He said: “I am the resurrection and the life” John 11:25

    It was the center piece of the first Christian sermons: Acts 2:23–24.

    “The apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 4:33

    Without the resurrection of Jesus, Christians are a group of people with no hope. The apostle Paul said as much: “If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.” 1 Corinthians 15:19

    Without the death of Christ, there is no forgiveness and no salvation: 1 Peter 2:24.
